Emergencies : Create a Personal Support Network

In an emergency, everybody needs a support network made up of people around them.

Make a list of relatives, friends, co-workers, service providers, personal attendants and other people who can be part of your emergency plan. Include people out of state, such as a relative. These people could help save your life, for example by helping you out of a building.

Try to find at least three people in each important location (home, workplace, service center, etc.).

You should share with your network your emergency information list and your medical information list specific for your situation.

Make sure you practice your emergency plan with your personal support network.
